When organising a Hen do, it’s easy to be a little overwhelmed by all the different activities that you and your hens could do. There are buff butlers you could hire, life models or strippers you could book, and seasoned mixologists you could also consider. Outside of these activities, there are also many other things you could do such as bar crawls, dancing classes, afternoon spa breaks and so on. So, how do you decide, and what’s the best option?
In this article, we’ll talk you through two of the most popular hen party activities – cocktail lessons and life drawing classes. We’ll highlight how both of these activities can bring you that extra bit of fun, and more excitement that wouldn’t be there without one of our entertainers!
Cocktail lessons:
With cocktail lessons, you will be able to hire a seasoned mixologist who will bring their own set of glassware, shakers, spirits and mixers and show you how to make three to four different cocktails. Essentially bringing a bar to you, while interactively making drinks amongst friends and family.
This option will likely suit you if you’re simply looking for a fun way of getting a variety of cocktails made without the sight of nudity from one of our male entertainers. You will be encouraged to take part in a few party games such as never have I ever and “who’s most likely to” all while making your favourite drinks. If you do want to add a bit of cheekiness, feel free to request a butler in the buff mixologist who will be happy to give you a 2 in 1 experience.
The best thing about hiring a mobile cocktail maker is that it costs essentially the same as you and your hen group going out to bars and ordering drinks. Except you don’t need to go out and queue for ages or lose sight of your friends, instead you can enjoy your freshly made drinks from the comfort of your venue.
As you can see from the image below, this service is the most classy out of the 4 types of bookings we offer, so if classy is more of what you’re looking for then just drop us an email about your future booking with us!

Life drawing class:
In a typical life drawing class, you will be greeted by one of our charming life models who’ll bring their own set of A3 papers and pencils, and then let you draw them for 45 minutes while you and your hens sip on some fizz and listen to your own background music. After the 45 minutes of life drawing, you’ll be able to enjoy another 45 minutes with our life model as a butler in the buff who’ll be happy to serve you drinks and play some party games with you all. See below for an example of what a Butler Direct life model session looks like!

This activity combines cheekiness with tranquil vibes – which makes for a great option to consider after a heavy night of partying and drinking.
If you’re looking for a chilled out activity that will allow you to wind down with your hens, then look no further. Our life model will be happy for you to take pictures after the life drawing and also judge your drawing skills (playfully) to see who’s drawing they like most.
Conclusion
Deciding between the mobile cocktail service and our life drawing class can be difficult if you like the idea of both of those activities. Luckily, we thought that could be a potential dilemma for our customers and so we combined the two activities in order to offer you our popular artistic package so you can get the best of both worlds.
Ultimately, you and your hens should consider what the bride would most likely enjoy. If you know that the bride has an artistic background with a cheeky side then the life drawing class will be a perfect choice. If however, you know that the bride likes something classy and interactive then consider getting in touch so we can discuss a cocktail making class for you.
