Book a buff butler for your hen party
When you book a buff butler with us, he turns up at your house, Airbnb or lodge, pours the drinks, hands round the food and runs the games, so nobody in your group has to host. Butler Direct has supplied buff butlers to hen parties and birthdays since 2022, from our base in Leeds. Every butler in the buff on our books is trained and vetted, and we’re fully insured.
We pay our butlers well, because a well-paid butler is a happy one, and a happy butler puts on the best show. You still pay a fair price.

He arrives early
About 15 minutes before your start time, so he's changed and ready for a prompt start.
The grand entrance
He makes his entrance, introduces himself to the group and gets straight to work.
Your party, your way
Serving food, pouring drinks, hosting games. Got plans? He'll help them run. No plans? He'll take charge and keep everyone entertained.
Last pictures
About five minutes before the end he'll ask who wants last photos, then leave you in peace with smiles on your faces.

How to book a buff butler
Get your quote
We send the full price for your booking. Quotes are valid for 14 days.
Pay your deposit
Usually 20%, minimum £50, by secure link. Your date is held once it's paid, and we confirm within 24 hours.
Pay the balance
Due 14 days before your event. Then sit back and look forward to it.
Plans change? You can move your date once for free at least 14 days before, and cancelling 14 days or more before only loses your deposit. Full details in our booking terms.

What does a butler in the buff actually do?
He arrives in collar, cuffs and bow tie, greets your group, serves the drinks, runs the games and keeps the food and the party moving, so nobody in the group has to host. You set the tone and he reads the room.
How much does a buff butler cost?
Prices start from £170 for two hours, and we’re happy to quote for shorter or longer bookings. They can vary a little with location and date, and your quote confirms the exact price. Cocktail masterclasses start from £25 per person and life drawing from £17.50 per person.
What does he actually wear?
Collar, cuffs and a bow tie, with a modesty apron, and the apron stays on all night. It’s cheeky rather than explicit, which is why it works for hen dos, birthdays and baby showers alike.
Does the apron ever come off?
No. If you’d like a late-night performance as well, that’s a separate booking with one of our strippers.
When does he arrive?
About 15 minutes before your start time, so he’s changed and ready to start on time. About five minutes before the end, he’ll check whether anyone wants last photos.
What do we need to provide?
The food and drink, and your butler serves it to the group. If you book a cocktail masterclass, we bring the glassware, bar kit and every ingredient, alcohol included.
Can he help with plans we’ve already made?
Yes. Tell us what you’ve got planned, such as a meal, games or a surprise for the bride, and he’ll help it run. If you’d rather not plan anything, he’ll take charge and keep everyone entertained. Our hen party games guide has ideas.
Do larger groups need more than one butler?
Bigger groups can have two or more butlers. Tell us your numbers and we’ll include it in your quote.
Will it suit a mixed-age group?
Yes. Our butlers pitch the night to the room. One recent hen weekend had guests from their late twenties to their mid sixties.
How far in advance should I book a butler in the buff?
Most groups book six to twelve weeks ahead. Saturdays between April and June go first, so if your date is fixed it is worth getting in early. We can often help at shorter notice too, so it is always worth asking.
What if our plans change?
You can move your date once for free, at least 14 days before, depending on availability. Cancel 14 days or more before your event and you only lose your deposit. See our booking terms.
